We at Penbox joined the REB at the beginning of 2020 as mentees. Since then, we’ve not stopped meeting inspiring entrepreneurs, following coaching sessions, taking part in workshops and more. With their support, we were able to go from 4 entrepreneurs to 16 jobs, with even more in 2023. If I have one piece of advice for anyone launching a start-up in Brussels, it’s to join the REB! For me, the network has been one of the greatest gifts I could have ever hoped for during my entrepreneurial journey. It’s hard for me to put into words what it provides you with, at the risk of not covering everything. But for me, the REB is: a warm welcome: no preconceptions or judgements and a straightforward approach. Solidarity: whatever issues or needs you may have, mutual support is a key element here. A listening ear: the network isn’t just about having a coach for two years, it’s about being able to talk to a multitude of coaches and/or fellow founders about any topic. Availability: at any time of the day, there’s always someone there to listen. And finally, the REB have an incredible team of staff who embrace entrepreneurial values.Il m’est difficile de mettre des mots sur ce qui en ressort au risque de restreindre sa portée. Mais pour moi, le REB c’est : Un accueil : pas d’apriori ou de jugement, la simplicité prime. Une solidarité : quel que soit l’embuche ou le besoin, l’entraide est essentielle. Une Ecoute : le réseau ce n’est pas un seul coach attitré pendant deux ans, c’est une multitude de coachs et/ou de « cocréateurs » avec qui je peux échanger dans tous les domaines. La disponibilité : A toutes heures du jour, il y a toujours une oreille bienveillante accessible. Et pour terminer, le REB c’est une équipe extraordinaire de salarié.e.s aux valeurs entrepreneuriales

The REB network of entrepreneurs has been my best discovery this year by far. The first time I met the team, I immediately felt supported and listened to. I also felt understood in terms of the difficulties I face as an entrepreneur. You really feel a sense of goodwill during committee meetings. Peers who have already gone through the same thing as you and who are there with just one goal in mind: to help you. The one-to-ones with my coach are fascinating, but at the same time really make me question things. You go in with certain beliefs and come out with even more uncertainty and new avenues to explore. It’s a challenge I enjoy, one that motivates me to give it my all until the next meeting. Overall, I think the network’s energy is truly incredible. It encourages you to question your beliefs, to challenge yourself and to face your fears. The shared desire to keep moving forward is amazing! And the organisers do a fantastic job!Lors des comités on ressent énormément de bienveillance. Des pairs qui sont passés là avant toi et qui ont qu une seule volonté; pouvoir t’aider. Mes one to one avec mon coach sont passionnants et terriblement déroutants à la fois. On y entre avec certaines croyances et on y ressort avec encore plus d’incertitude et de nouvelles pistes de travail. Un challenge qui me plaît, qui me motive à me donner encore plus à fond jusqu’au prochain rendez-vous. Je trouve de manière globale que l’énergie du réseau est vraiment incroyable, elle pousse à se remettre en question, à se challenger, à affronter ses peurs. L’envie commune d’aller vers l’avant est géniale! L’équipe organisatrice fait un merveilleux travail!
